A. GENERAL
Why WPpick?
At WPpick we believe in open-source freedom. Many premium WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce extensions are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL), yet sold only in bundled “support+code” packages. WPpick separates the code (which is GPL-licensed) from the developer support, so you pay only for the software itself and can self-support or hire any expert you choose.
What items are available on WPpick?
We offer the most popular premium WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce extensions. Our library is constantly updated with new releases, so you’ll always find top-selling and niche items in one place.
Who develops the items on WPpick?
All items come from third-party developers. For details on each author, simply view the item’s page in our repository, where you’ll find a link to the original developer’s website.
How do I download from WPpick?
Downloading is free—just create an account and sign in. Once logged in, you can browse, download, and update anything covered by our GPLpick membership.
How can WPpick offer so many premium items for free?
Because they’re all GPL-licensed. The GPL grants everyone the right to use, modify, and redistribute the code, so we re-distribute original theme and plugin packages without added support services. You get the code; support is up to you.
Are the files on WPpick modified in any way?
No. Every theme, plugin, and extension we host is the unaltered, authentic package released by the developer. We do not inject ads, trackers, or hidden backdoors—only the original GPL code.
On how many websites can I use WPpick downloads?
Unlimited. GPL lets you use software on as many sites as you wish—yours, your clients’, or your friends’.
Can I customize items downloaded from WPpick?
Absolutely. GPL-licensed code is yours to modify. If you need assistance, check out our “Need Help?” page or hire a WordPress developer.
Where do I get support for downloads?
We support your WPpick account and download process only. For installation, configuration, or customization help, please contact the original author’s support or a qualified WordPress professional.
How do I install WPpick downloads?
Upload the theme or plugin ZIP via FTP or install through your WordPress Dashboard. Many tutorials exist online—WPBeginner and HostGator both offer step-by-step guides.
How do I get updates?
As long as your WPpick account remains active, you can download the latest versions from your dashboard. Updates must be applied manually just like the original package.
Can I use WPpick items on WordPress.com?
No. All WPpick items require a self-hosted WordPress.org installation. For differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, see WPBeginner’s comparison infographic.
What about registration codes and update notifications?
Some plugins include “registration” or “update available” notices linked to paid support licenses. You can safely ignore these—the plugins work fully without registering, and you can always fetch updates directly from WPpick.
B. MEMBERSHIP & USAGE
